Not awesome, but troublesome designs led us here!
Background!
In all those decades we've been shopping for our homes or offices, now and then we've likely run into designs so troublesome that got us wondering if engineering ever went into building them! Chairs that taunt you with bothersome distortion as you sit, that hell called a shopping cart you are forced to push when you want to pull instead, electrical spike busters that drive you nuts when you discover your smartphone is uncharged because of a slight mismatch between pins and sockets and so on. As the founder, I've seen minor to major issues in performance, inefficiency and failures as well among many industries to who I've provided solutions in the past.
Bad design can be terribly damaging!
As most of us would agree, bad design is a lot more than personal annoyance. In the big picture, bad design can indeed result in anything from a life hazard to as much as a national stigma itself, not too rarely causing some serious negative impact on a nation's economy. And yes, parent industry(ies) could likely see their stock prices hit followed by cascading internal damage. To sum it up, bad design is to an industry as bad health is to an individual.
